As a self proclaimed explorer with a bit of a competitive side I fully admit to doing things that most people would deem as relatively pointless. For example, 1,000 mile days on a hard tail motorcycle. Taking aforementioned hard tail motorcycle down dirt roads and trails intended for motorcycles considerably more equipped for the terrain than mine. And most recently my intention of riding said motorcycle to the furthest point away from my intended destination of Miami, Florida as possible. That’s right, furthest point in the wrong direction, within the lower 48 of course.
